Place based decarbonisation - transforming to achieve net zero
ADEPT in collaboration with COLAS and EQUANS will be holding two roundtable events on ‘Place based decarbonisation - transforming to achieve net zero’ – one in the south and one in the north. This is following on from the workshop that was held at the ADEPT Autumn Conference 2024. The first will take place in Exeter on 15th May.
This unique event will bring together a selection of experts, experienced practitioners and local authority viewpoints to create a progressive environment for discussion on how local authorities can look to achieve and indeed accelerate their progress towards succeeding in their Net Zero goals.
The day will cover two key topics in a dynamic format of short talks and interaction:
- Place-based decarbonisation, following on from the successful workshop at the ADEPT Autumn Conference
- Doughnut Economics applied to Highways services
The day will be opened by Rob Richards, Deputy Director Highways & Infrastructure Development, Devon County Council.
Register your interest for full details of the agenda and speakers. A report from the ADEPT Autumn Conference workshop will be sent out ahead of the event.
