ADEPT is hosting a webinar for place and environment leaders on Monday 6 July, 14:00–15:30, exploring the role of local authorities in managing water resources.
The session will look at how water scarcity, flooding, nature recovery and growth are increasingly intersecting, and what this means for local and strategic authority place directors and their teams. It will cover national policy expectations, emerging governance around regional water resource planning, and the practical leadership challenges authorities are facing on the ground. Speakers will include colleagues from Defra and MHCLG, regional water planning bodies, and local authorities, with time for panel discussion and audience Q&A.
