Materials and resources from the Live Labs 2 Expo in Liverpool
The £30 million ADEPT Live Labs 2: Decarbonising Local Roads programme celebrated another successful milestone with its second Expo, held on 25th March 2025 in Liverpool.
The Live Labs 2 Expo 2025 attracted over 200 attendees who gathered to explore the programme's achievements in accelerating local highways towards a net zero future. This builds on the momentum from the first successful Expo held in Birmingham in April 2024.
ADEPT Live Labs 2: Decarbonising Local Roads in the UK is a three-year, UK-wide £30 million programme funded by the Department for Transport that aims to decarbonise the local highway network. Seven projects, grouped by four interconnected themes, are being led by local authorities working alongside commercial and academic partners.
