ADEPT Strategic Plan 2026-29 draft - consultation open

A draft of ADEPT’s new Strategic Plan for 2026-29 has been released for consultation, with members invited to provide feedback ahead of its formal launch in May.

You can read the draft here.

The proposed plan, currently titled Making Better Places, sets out our strategic objectives for 2026-29, celebrates some of our key achievements over the period of the previous Strategic Plan and outlines the main changes and challenges that we must address.

Feedback is being sought on the following questions:

  1. Our current Strategic Plan is called Placing Communities First; the working title for the new Strategic Plan is Making Better Places. Does this title accurately capture ADEPT’s ambitions, or do you have an alternative suggestion?
  2. For the first time we have set out ADEPT’s values as an organisation. Are the four values proposed (page 2) right, or are any missing?
  3. As with the current Strategic Plan, we have again suggested six strategic priorities for the next three years (page 5). Are these comprehensive?
  4. In addition to the core text of the Plan, the document will include some text boxes and infographics to make it more interesting visually (page 6). Are there any other topics that could be highlighted like this?

Please send comments / responses to Katherine at [email protected] by Friday 13th March.

The new Strategic Plan will be launched at the ADEPT Spring Conference in London on the 13th May 2026.
