New industry framework set to help increase recycling

WRAP, the Waste and Resources Action Programme, has today published their ‘A Framework for Greater Consistency in Household Recycling.’

The Association of Directors of Environment, Economy, Planning and Transport (ADEPT) has supported WRAP through active participation and engagement in the sector wide steering group responsible for this project.

Rupert Clubb, President of ADEPT said:  “ADEPT has been pleased to contribute to the development of this framework for greater consistency in household recycling in England.  We are particularly pleased that all parts of the circular economy loop including manufacturers, retailers, recyclers and reprocessors are involved and look forward to working with partners to realise the positive benefits that this combined effort will bring.”
