New partnership launched for ADEPT local authority members

The Association of Directors of Environment, Economy, Planning & Transport (ADEPT) and Proving Services have announced an exciting new partnership, offering a number of exclusive benefits to ADEPT local authority members.

This exclusive collaboration enables ADEPT local authority members to freely access the findings, analytical tools, datasets and thought leadership generated by best practice research clubs co-ordinated by Proving Services.

It offers opportunities to debate, design, develop and test innovative solutions to prevailing and emerging challenges. In the first instance the focus will be on highways, waste and recycling, and heritage and tourism.

A key aim is to give ADEPT local authority members the chance to support strategic transformation, drive the implementation of sector-based innovation and deploy continuous value for money improvements.

In addition, they will also be able to access Proving’s value for money benchmarking services at a considerably reduced rate.

Neil Gibson, President of ADEPT said: “ADEPT members are constantly seeking to influence and shape government policy and initiatives that affect place-based services. This new collaboration is set to help us make even more of an impact, by giving local authorities a number of benefits, including better access to invaluable best practice tools and services - we are very excited to launch it to our members.”

Andy Perrin, Director at Proving Services said: “We are extremely proud to announce our partnership with ADEPT, which will give ADEPT local authority members access to a wide range of best-practice services and toolkits. It will also provide an opportunity to influence national policy and initiatives even further, through our research clubs, and deliver continuous value for money improvement through our benchmarking clubs”.
